Reinstalling an EVO Weather Widget
Equipped with the Google Android operating system, the HTC Evo’s touch screen enables you to add widgets to your numerous home screens. By adding a weather widget to your home screen, you will see weather information for your selected city by glancing at your screen. If the weather widget appears to malfunction, you may need to reinstall the application. Reinstalling an application requires you to uninstall it and then download it again.

Turn on your Evo. Touch the “Market” icon if it is present on one of your home screens. If it’s not, press the up arrow on your screen to open your list of applications. Touch “Market” in the applications list. The applications are listed alphabetically.

Press the “Menu” button on your phone, located next to the “Home” button. Select “My Apps.”

Tap the weather application you wish to uninstall, then touch “Uninstall.” Touch “Yes” to confirm your decision. Once the application is removed, the application’s page will include an “Install” button. Touch “Install” to reinstall the weather application.

Place the widget back on one of your home screens by pressing the “+” button and touching “Widget” when the option appears.
