How to Arch on PowerPoint
Microsoft's PowerPoint presentation program allows users to customize pages, called slides, from scratch or by editing provided templates. In addition to adding sound and animation, you can add shapes and customize text. Curved lines and shapes can be created from the Drawing Toolbar, and text can be arched via the Format menu.

Go to the Drawing Toolbar on the right side of the screen.

Click on the “Arc Tool” button. The button’s location will vary by the PowerPoint version you are running. For example, in PowerPoint for Windows XP, it is accessed after clicking “Basic Shapes.”

Drag your mouse along the screen to create a curved line.

Add the desired text to your PowerPoint slide using the Edit Text button.

Click on “Format,” located on the main menu.

Select “Text Effects” from the drop-down menu.

Select “Transform.” Click on the picture featuring curved text to create arched text.
