How to Make Wig Closures
If you have ever thought about instantly changing your look by wearing a wig, you're not alone. Cher, Beyonce and other famous celebrities often wear wigs to avoid overly damaging their hair from constant styling. Nice wigs can be expensive, so one option is to buy tracks of hair and a wig cap to create your own wig. Creating wig closures adds the finishing touch to your wig and provides professional results. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions

1
Place glue along the top line of a 6-inch track of hair. Wait a couple of minutes for glue to get tacky.
-
2
Roll the hair track along the line of glue. Keep the roll as tight as possible to prevent visible holes appearing on the top of the wig.

3
Thread a needle with strong thread and tie a knot in the end. Beginning at one end, run the needle and thread back and forth through the rolled section of hair several times until you reach the other end to secure the hair. Tie off and trim the end of the thread using scissors.
-
4
Place a glob of glue onto the threaded section of hair. Hold the glue against a hot iron for a few seconds to create a seal for your hair closure.
-
5
Spread out the hair so the roll of hair is in the middle, with hair spreading out in all directions. Use an iron or flat iron to flatten the center of the hair closure so there won't be a large bump when you add it to your wig.
-
6
Glue the hair closure onto the wig cap to top off the wig. Style the wig to create the look you want.
