1
Add the basic elements of the table first. Lay down the tablecloth or runner first to begin decorating the table. Add dishes, bowls and dinnerware to each place setting based on the meal or food being served during the bridal shower. This represents the lowest height of items on the table.
-
2
Use various sized glassware at each place setting. Use three different heights of glasses such as short coffee cups, medium height water glasses and tall champagne flutes.
-
-
3
Place the centerpiece display in the center of the table. This will be taller in comparison to the plates and bowls. Gauge the available space left on the table for decorating by stepping back from the bridal shower table and assessing the base set up.
-
4
Add candlesticks with tall taper candles or pillar candles inside glass hurricane containers in a ring around the centerpiece. Use holders that are slightly shorter compared to the top of the centerpiece.
-
5
Place a bud vase at each place setting and insert one floral bloom into the vase. This adds another height level to the table.
-
6
Tie helium-filled balloons to the back of chairs to add height to the perimeter of the entire bridal table. An alternate way to add extra decorations in varying heights is to suspend paper lanterns in varying lengths above the bridal table.
