The story of Rapunzel is still told today in storybooks, movies and plays. A Rapunzel wig is crucial when acting out the fairy tale, as Rapunzel’s hair is one of the most important parts of the story.

Things You'll Need

  • 18-yards of yellow tulle, cut into 3 6-yard sections
  • Measuring tape
  • 4 rubber bands
  • 4 6-inch pieces of ribbon

Instructions

      Lay the three 6 yard sections of tulle together on the floor.

      Measure 8 feet 6 inches from the left side of the tulle and wrap a rubber band around the three pieces of tulle. Tie a bow around the rubber band with a ribbon.

      Braid the three pieces of tulle on the left side of the first rubber band. Secure the end with a rubber band. Tie a bow around the rubber band with a ribbon.

      Braid the three pieces of tulle on the right side of the second rubber band. Secure the end with a rubber band. Tie a bow around the rubber band with a ribbon.

      Place the middle section of the tulle on top of your head.
