How to Make Necro Armor

Necro Armor in “Terraria” is a three-piece armor set consisting of the Necro Helmet, Necro Breastplate and Necro Greaves. You can craft pieces of Necro Armor from cobwebs and bones at a workbench. Necro Armor is useful for characters who rely on ranged weapons, such as bows and guns. A full set increases a character’s ranged damage by 12 percent and gives a character’s ranged attacks a 20 percent chance to not consume ammo. A set of Necro Armor also provides 16 defense, which reduces the damage your character takes from enemies.

Instructions

    • 1

Gather 135 cobwebs. Cobwebs are found hanging from the ceiling in caves underground. You can hit the hanging cobwebs with a weapon to break them into pieces and pick them up.

    • 2

Get 90 bones by killing any type of skeleton in the dungeon. The dungeon is randomly placed at the left-most or right-most edge of your map when it’s created. If you haven’t been to the dungeon yet, you’ll have to kill the Skeletron boss in front of the dungeon by talking to the Old Man there at night. Skeleton and the dungeon are designed for high-level characters with good gear.

    • 3

Stand in front of a work bench. You should have a work bench in your house. If you don’t have one, you can craft a work bench with 10 pieces of wood and place it on the ground.

    • 4

Press the “Escape” key to access your inventory and crafting menu.

    • 5

Scroll through the objects you can craft at the bottom-left corner of your screen. Click a piece of Necro Armor to create it and then click an equipment or inventory slot to wear or store the armor.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can make individual pieces of Necro Armor with fewer cobwebs and bones. The Necro Helmet requires 40 cobwebs and 25 bones, the Necro Breastplate requires 50 cobwebs and 35 bones and the Necro Greaves require 45 cobwebs and 30 bones.
