How to Keep Ballet Flats Dry
Ballet flats are soft and flexible dance shoes with suede soles. Traditionally, only dancers use ballet flats. However, you can now find fashion ballet flats to wear outside with slightly thicker soles. Because of the delicate leather, it is important to keep your ballet flats as dry as possible. Although it may be impossible to keep your ballet flats completely dry, there are some things you can do to help your shoes last longer and remain in good shape.

1
Avoid wearing your ballet flats outside. Since they will most likely get wet outside, wear other shoes and change into your ballet flats when you are at the dance studio or other indoor place.
-
2
Wear a protective cover on your ballet flats if you have to wear them outside. Ballet shoe companies usually sell protective booties to help keep your shoes dry.

3
Hang up your ballet flats after wearing them to air dry. Your feet will naturally sweat and your shoes may become damp. Turn the flats inside out before hanging them up to ensure they completely dry.
-
4
Alternate your ballet flats with other shoes if you are wearing them for fashion. This will help them dry out between outings.
