Downloading Skype for an Ideos Tablet

Download Skype onto your Huwai Ideos tablet over 3G or WiFi connections and make calls to Skype users for free.

The Huawei Ideos tablet is a tablet PC that runs on the Android operating system. You can use Skype over the 3G network, if you have a SIM card in your tablet or over a WiFi system if you do not. Though Skype is available for the Ideos tablet through the Android Market application, it does not support video calls, but you can make Skype to Skype voice calls and send instant messages to other Skype users on your buddy list.

Instructions

1. Tap the "Home" button on your tablet, and tap the applications menu, which has the icon of four squares in the lower right corner.

2. Scroll through the applications to the Android Market app, and tap it.

3. Tap the search bar, and enter "Skype."

4. Tap the Skype app by Skype from the list of results.

5. Tap the "Install" button and allow the Market it to download and install Skype on your tablet. The most current version supported for the Ideos tablet will automatically download.
