How to Groom a Long Mustache
Most recently popular in the 1970s and 1980s, the mustache seems to be reemerging. The ability to grow facial hair is a sign of manhood, and young men often will grow long mustaches and style them in different ways. While a mustache can bring out the best features in a man's face, it is important to remember that, like the rest of your body, a mustache must be groomed. Take the time to comb and wax your mustache for a tidy appearance. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Condition your mustache three to four times a week when you shower. Since your mustache is hair just like the hair on your head, conditioning it will keep it well moisturized and thick-looking.
-
2
Brush your mustache with a natural bristle brush after you shower, to give it shape and get the hairs going in the direction you want.

3
Apply wax to your mustache. Use your thumb and pointer finger to shape the hairs of your mustache as you please. You can pull the hairs down toward your lip if you like the look of a walrus mustache, or you can roll the hair on each side of your mustache out toward each respective cheek for a handlebar look.

Use a hair dryer to heat the wax on your mustache if the hairs are not staying in place. Point the hair dryer at one side of your mustache for 10 seconds while you hold the hairs of your mustache in the shape you desire. Keep holding the hairs in place until the wax is cool. Repeat the process for the other side of the mustache.
