Repairing Scratches on a Convex Crystal
Convex crystals are curved clear surfaces that protect the watch face. Even though crystal is a hard substance, it is not impossible to scratch. Removing scuffs from the convex surface is possible. The material of the crystal determines how difficult this task will be. Some convex watch crystals are made of softer materials, such as acrylic or plastic, and easier to fix at home, whereas sapphire crystals are harder and may need a professional’s touch. Does this Spark an idea?
