Choose a light foundation that matches your skin tone. Mineral makeup is a good choice because it is oil-free and does not cake up on the skin. Apply the foundation lightly with a foundation brush for a more even look.

Dust translucent mineral powder (not tinted) lightly over your entire face, but use a light hand. You still want your skin to look dewy, not completely matte. Focus particularly on your "T-zone" (nose, chin and forehead) where too much shine can look oily.

Brush the apples of your cheeks sparingly with a pink shimmery blush. Pink is flattering to every skin type and the shimmer will enhance your fresh look.

Select light, natural colors to complete your look. Dewy skin is best played up when it is made to look fresh and healthy. Pinks, browns, taupes and light application of eyeliner, eye shadow and mascara will look best.

Naturally dewy skin is already very moisturized. Stay away from any cosmetics that contain oil as they will be too heavy for your skin type. Mineral makeup is the lightest and best selection for dewy skin.
Avoid shimmer in any of your makeup except the blush. You don't need additional shimmer anywhere else.
