How to Do an A-Line Hairstyle
The A-line hairstyle is based on a bob haircut with the hair near the front of the face longer than the hair at the back of the head. The gradually increasing taper in length towards the front of the face is very flattering and shows off a woman's facial features. You can create many different hairstyles with an A-line haircut. Two of the easiest and most attractive hairstyles for A-line bobs are the curly bob and the slick bob. Does this Spark an idea?

3
Separate a small section of hair and wrap it around the hot curling iron, beginning at the root. You want loose, bouncy curls for this style so curling at the root of the hair will create a looser curl than if you begin at the tips of the hair.
-
4
Repeat until all your hair is curled. Gently run your fingers through the curls to loosen and tousle them slightly. Spray your finished style with a light-hold hair spray.
Slick A-Line Bob
-
5
A-line haircuts look great when styled to be slick and chic. Wash and condition hair as usual. Apply a heat protectant to wet hair.
-
6
Blow-dry sections of hair wrapped around a round brush. The round brush will help create lift and volume. Blow-dry until your hair is completely dry.
-
7
Tease the the hair at the crown of the head gently using a boar-bristle brush in order to create volume. Gently smooth it back down and apply a light-hold hairspray.
