How to Create a Blank Record Subform
Creating a blank record subform will require making a new form in your database program. This allows you to view your customer data from multiple tables in a database. A popular database program that you can use for business applications is Microsoft Access. To create a blank form in Access, you will need to use the “Forms Wizard” option available within the program.

Double-click the “Microsoft Access” icon to open the program and go to the “Create” tab. Click on the option for “Forms Wizard” that is located in the “Forms” group.

Select a table or query from the “Tables/Queries” drop-down selection box. Double-click the fields that you want to use.

Click on the “Tables/Queries” drop-down selection box and select a table or query. Double-click on the fields you want to use.

Click the “Next” button to continue. Answer the question “How do you want to view your data?” by selecting a table from the list on the left. You will then see a small diagram of a form on the screen.

Select the radio button for “Form with subform(s).” Click the “Next” button to continue. You will now go to the “What layout would you like for your subform?” page.

Click on the option that you want to use for your layout from the list provided. Click the “Next” button to continue.

Type the names of the titles that you want to use for your forms into the text boxes. Select the option to use to view the form and then click the “Finish” button.
