How to Buff a Scratch Off of a Window
The ultimate purpose of a perfectly clean window is to have the pane of glass virtually disappear, affording you an unobstructed view of whatever lays beyond the window. Little scratches on the glass pane annoyingly interfere -- standing in the way of you and your view. Instead of replacing the window, one option is to try buffing away the scratches, using a common household product. This trick also works on mirrors. Does this Spark an idea?

Wash the window and squeegee dry.

Squeeze a dab of toothpaste onto the tip of a finger. Rub the toothpaste over the scratch mark.

Buff the area with a soft, dry cloth. Continue buffing until the toothpaste and scratch disappears.
