How to Make a URL Link Show on Tumblr
While it’s possible to create a blog containing nothing but plain text, you might wish to include a few URL links to liven up your posts. Links make websites and blogs interactive. Links also provide free gateways to valuable information sources that blog readers may find useful or entertaining. With millions of links to choose from on the Web, you shouldn’t have trouble finding an interesting URL to add to a Tumblr blog post.

Launch your browser and visit your Tumblr blog page. Click "Dashboard," then click the "Link" button near the top of the page. Tumblr displays the "Add a Link" page.

Type or paste a URL in the "URL" text box and click "Add a Description." A text editor opens.

Type a description of the link along with any other thoughts or ideas you may have in the text editor. Place your cursor in the "Title" text box and type a title for your blog post.

Click "Create Post" to post your link and description. Click the link that you see in the post to navigate to the URL you entered in the "URL" text box.

Tips & Warnings
To delete a link, locate the blog post that contains the link you wish to delete and click the "Delete" button located next to the link. To edit the link instead, click the "Edit" button that appears next to the link.
