How to Make ISO With ConvertX

ConvertXtoDVD is primarily used to burn any video format to blank DVD discs. Optionally, you can opt to convert a video file to an ISO disc image. This essentially compresses associated files into a single batch format, saving separate subtitles and audio channels along. This ultimately allows programs that do not support a particular video format to recognize the video through its ISO extension.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the program’s “Action” menu and select “Convert” from the list of options displayed.

    • 2

Browse for the file you wish to convert to ISO using the subsequent dialog window.

    • 3

Double-click the file to open it and return to the previous screen. Allow the file encoding to take place; on average, a 350MB file takes approximately five minutes.

    • 4

Click the drop-down menu displayed once the encoding process completes, which allows you to burn the file to disc or change its format. Select the “ISO Image in Working Folder” option. Once selected, the program will convert the file into an ISO automatically.

    • 5

Click “OK” once the “Operation Complete” message pops up.

Tips & Warnings

  • To change the destination folder where ISO files are stored, click the “Settings” menu, followed by “General.” Type the new destination path into the “Working Folder” field and click “OK” to save all changes.
