How to Restore Keychains on a Mac

The Keychain application on your Mac keeps track of all the usernames and passwords for your various online and offline accounts. The application is native to your operating system and can be especially useful if you have numerous accounts or easily forget your password. If your Keychain stops working or freezes your computer, you can restore the program as long as you have a previous backup of your Mac. Your operating system includes the Time Machine utility to assist you in the data recovery and backup processes on the computer.
