How to Make a Couple Feel Like Celebrities on Their Wedding Day

Every couple feels like a celebrity on their wedding day.

When a celebrity gets married, it's nothing less than a front-page event. Astronomically expensive designer cakes, decorations dripping with bling and paparazzi flying overhead in helicopters are just just some of the trappings of a celebrity wedding. Although you might not be able to produce an event on the scale of a superstar wedding, there are several ways you and the other guests can make the wedding couple feel like celebs in their own right.

• Designer sunglasses
• Disposable cameras
• Personalized novelty newspaper
• Helicopter
• Celebrity impersonators

Instructions

1. Spring for two pairs of designer sunglasses in his and hers styles. Present them to the wedding couple before the big event in two expensively-wrapped packages. Encourage them to wear them when they leave the wedding venue and when they arrive at the reception hall.

2. Supply all of the guests with disposable cameras, have them gather outside the church and start snapping the couple's photo when they exit. Have them call the couple's names just like the paparazzi do and try to get them to smile for a perfect cover shot.

3. Commission a local print shop to create a novelty newspaper announcing the wedding of the couple in a sensational way. Ask the printer to make the novelty newspaper look like a Hollywood tabloid and use candid photos of the couple on the cover.

4. Pool your money and hire a helicopter to hover overhead when the couple leave the church just as they do at a celebrity wedding. Have the pilot attach a banner that reads "Congratulations Mark and Sue on your wedding day!" to let the couple know you've hired the helicopter just for them.

5. Hire a handful of celebrity impersonators to show up at the wedding reception and surprise the couple and their guests. Choose famous figures from the past like Marilyn Monroe, Elvis and John Wayne or those from the present like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts and George Clooney. Snap plenty of photographs of the couple with their favorite stars.
