How Do You Do the Zombie Spawning in Forge for the Game "Halo: Reach"?

Infection is a game-type that you can play in “Halo: Reach.” In Infection, humans fight zombies for control of the map. The game starts with one zombie holding a sword. If the zombie kills a human, that human is infected and becomes a zombie. Using a program named Forge, you can create custom “Halo: Reach” Infection maps. In order to create one, you must set up a zombie spawning point.

Instructions

    • 1

Select "Forge" from the options menu of "Halo: Reach" to open the game editor.

    • 2

Create a custom map as you would for a regular game.

    • 3

Select “Game Type," choose “Infection” and press “X.” This will set the game-type to Infection instead of a regular game.

    • 4

Select “Advanced” and then “Infection Haven.” You must have an Infection Haven in order to run an Infection game.

    • 5

Place the Infection Haven somewhere on your map. Infection-mode will not run and zombies will not spawn unless you have a Haven on the map.

    • 6

Select “Spawn Type” and then “Blue.” Blue spawn points are for zombies; red spawn points are for humans.

    • 7

Place the blue zombie spawn point somewhere on your map, and then save and exit.
