How to Delete iCal Read-Only Data
ICal ready-only data are files that cannot be edited and can only be displayed in the iCal application. Delete iCal data to clear up some space on your computer and organize your calendar information on your Mac. The Mac OS X operating system includes the necessary tools to manage the various files on your computer. Since you are only removing files, you will not have to use an uninstaller to delete the iCal read-only data from your hard drive.

Click the "Finder" icon on your Mac.

Type the name of the read-only data file you want to remove into the "Search" field in the Finder interface. The application will display the file's location on your hard drive.

Click the .ICS file and drag the file onto the "Trash" icon. Alternately, you can press "Delete" on the keyboard after you click the file.

Click the "Finder" button on the menu bar on top of the screen and click "Empty Trash" to remove the files from your hard drive.
