How to Crop in iPhoto
Edit your photos with ease with the Macintosh iPhoto program. iPhoto not only shows you all the photos in your computer library, but lets you edit them in numerous ways, from cropping to resizing and removing red eye. Cropping lets you remove unwanted people and objects in your photos, making them ready to show off to friends and family on the Web.

Open iPhoto and click the "Photos" folder under "Library."

Click on the photo you want to crop and click the "Crop" icon on the lower edit toolbar.

Drag the box corners in or out to crop. Whatever is outside of the box will be cropped out. The opaque box will show you what portion of the photo you are keeping.

Click "Apply" once you have cropped the photo to your liking.
