How to Make a Balloon Arch With String
For the cost of balloons, string and anchors, you can have a large decorative balloon arch that makes a big impression on your guests during any celebration. A balloon arch is a large cluster of balloons that form an arch. You can use a balloon arch as a walkway to separate an area, or have it solely as a big decorative piece. When assembling a balloon arch, the arch forms its shape naturally by attaching the balloons that lift the string into an arch.

Unravel the string to the desired size of your arch. Cut the string with scissors and attach a balloon anchor to each end.

Cut a six-inch piece of string for each balloon, then fill the balloons with helium. Tie a string onto each of the balloons.

Attach five helium balloons on the string: one in the center, one two feet above each end of the string and one balloon for each end. This shapes the string into the frame of the arch and gives you an idea of how big the finished product looks. If you want a bigger or smaller arch, cut a new piece of string to accommodate your needs. If you like the size of the arch, fill in the rest of the string with balloons.
