How to Paint a Room With Raspberry Accents
Create a colorful, cheerful look for any room in your home with the color raspberry. Used in bulk, this bold color can become overbearing and make a room appear smaller than it actually is, but when used in moderation, this color can add a bright and cheery look to your home decor. Create a backdrop for raspberry accents. Paint the majority of the room in a color that coordinates with raspberry. For a neutral backdrop, try white, cream or brown. For a bolder look, consider teal or lime. Paint all four walls in the space the main color, or use the color only on three of the walls in the room.

Paint a raspberry accent wall. If you paint three walls in the space, paint the remaining wall raspberry. Use this color on the first wall you see when you enter the room, or the wall you intend to place a large piece of furniture against, such as a bed or a sofa.

Add raspberry on the trim of the room. Paint the moldings, windowsills and window frames raspberry. You may even consider painting the doors of the room raspberry.

Create a design on a wall with raspberry. Paint raspberry geometric prints, polka dots or stripes on a focal wall or on all of the walls of the room. Paint a garden of raspberry flowers or a raspberry tree in the corner of the room.
