How to Make a Unicorn Craft
Unicorns are fictitious creatures, similar in appearance to a horse or pony. The most important characteristic feature of the unicorn is the prominent horn on the forehead. Unicorns are often characters in fantasy novels and movies and can be made from various craft mediums. Paper, clay, yarn, are a few of the many possibilities for creating your unicorn craft. This unicorn craft is suitable for kids and is made using basic supplies that are easy to find around the house.
Things You'll Need
- White construction paper
- Pen
- Scissors
- Blue paint
- Palette
- Silver glitter
- 1 wiggly eye
- Glue
- Small sponge

Draw the outline of a unicorn on a piece of white construction paper. Don't worry about drawing details inside the body of the unicorn, as you will be painting and covering the unicorn with glitter.

Pour some blue paint onto a palette. Dip your sponge into the paint and sponge-paint your unicorn. Instead of using a brush stroke, use a press-and-release motion to create a sponge effect texture.

Spread some glitter over your unicorn while your paint is still wet. Let the paint dry. After the paint has finished drying, use a small dab of glue to attach the wiggly eye to your unicorn.
