How to Enable Full Screen on a Mac
You can take up the whole screen with a single application by enabling the full-screen feature in your Mac's operating system. A full-screen app removes distractions by filling the entire screen with the application's interface. The full-screen function is built into the Mac OS X Lion operating system and is native to a number of the Apple applications included on your computer, such as PhotoBooth, Garageband and iPhoto.
