Personalize your Zune with a favorite photo.

When used in conjunction with the Microsoft Zune software installed on your computer, Zune digital media players can synchronize the contents of your Windows computer’s Music, Videos and Pictures directories. This allows you to carry a copy of all audio, video and image files stored in these locations on your Zune player. You then can personalize your Zune player by using one of the pictures you synchronized as the background image displayed on the device.

Instructions

    • 1

Synchronize your Zune player with the Zune software installed on your computer, if you have not already done so. This creates a copy of the picture you want to use on your Zune player. To synchronize, connect your Zune player to your computer using the USB sync cable. By default, the Zune software synchronizes everything automatically and you can disconnect your player once the sync process completes. If you have modified the software for manual synchronization, then you must manually select the picture you want to synchronize.

    • 2

Select “Pictures” from the available options on your Zune player to view the pictures stored on the device.

    • 3

Locate and select the picture you want to use as the background image for your Zune player and press the center of the Zune pad. A list of options appears on the screen.

    • 4

Select the “Apply as Background” option. Your picture now appears as the background image for your Zune player.
