Instructions

    • 1

Turn off your Featherlite and allow it to cool for a few minutes.

    • 2

Find the Featherlite's carburetor. The carburetor features a unique bowl shape and is on the left side of the engine.

    • 3

Locate the nut on the center of the underside of the Featherlite's carburetor bowl. Place a pan beneath this nut, then unscrew the nut with a socket wrench. Fuel and liquid will begin to drain out of this area into the pan. This is normal. Allow this draining to complete before proceeding.

    • 4

Place the carburetor's nut into a pan that is filled with carburetor cleaning mixture. Proceed to clean the nut with a brush and the solution.

    • 5

Twist off the Featherlite's carburetor bowl with your hands.

    • 6

Soak a rag in carburetor cleaning mixture and scrub out the inside of the carburetor bowl.

    • 7

Twist the Featherlite's carburetor bowl back onto the machine and reinsert the nut into its underside with your socket wrench.
