DIY IS300 LED
The IS300 is an LED light bulb that is designed for Lexus automobiles. These bulbs last two to three times longer than a standard auto filament bulb. They also draw about half the power as a regular bulb. They are fit into the bulb housing on the car's taillights. If you have purchased new IS300s, you can install the bulbs yourself without the help of a service technician.

Power off your Lexus and open the trunk.

Locate the trunk liner just inside the rear of the trunk, just behind where the taillight sits. Pull the liner off to expose the rear of the light.

Remove the screws and nuts on the rear panel of the light. Remove the panel and you will have access to the internal bulb.

Lift the bulb up from it slot and unplug the wiring harness from the rear of the bulb. Throw the old bulb away.

Plug the wiring harness into the port at the rear of the IS300 and fit the IS300 in the slot.

Replace the housing panel as well as the screws and nuts. Replace the trunk lining as well.
