How to Customize the Download Speed on Vuze

Vuze, the BitTorrent client formerly known as Azureus, automatically attempts to determine a maximum download speed by default. You can set your own maximum download speed in Vuze to prevent torrent downloads from saturating your connection. In addition to the global download speed, Vuze also supports per-torrent download speeds. You can customize the maximum download speed available to a specific torrent. Limiting a torrent’s download speed can allow other torrents to consume more available bandwidth and download faster.
