How to Delete Duplicates in iPhoto
Duplicate photos stored on a computer can be useful, especially if you want to edit one copy and leave the other unchanged; however, duplicates can consume system memory and leave a photo application disorganized. In iPhoto, you can create duplicate photos intentionally by copying them, or accidentally import them. If you have multiple copies of the same image and no longer are interested in them, you can quickly remove those you don't want.
