How to Curtain off a Section of a Room
A sheer curtain across a portion of a room gives the illusion of privacy and division without making the room seem smaller or darker. Use pre-made curtain panels or sew a hem around three sides of sheer fabric with a casing in the top to make your own. Use a length of ribbon to hold the curtains back when you don't need to use them as a divider. Does this Spark an idea?

Make a loop in one end of a length of airplane wire, with a turnbuckle hooked in the loop. Attach a wire rope clip to the turnbuckle. Expand the turnbuckle and attach it to one of the wall hooks. Cut the wire 6 inches longer than the expanse between the walls. Make a loop in the other end with the second turnbuckle attached, then secure with another wire rope clip.
