When you're designing the decorations for any type of party, remember that height and color can be your allies or your enemies. At a subdued affair, such as a small wedding, you might need only a few subtle balloon decorations; but at an energetic and exciting party, a tall balloon structure, such as a tower, could be just what the event needs. Things You'll Need

  • Free-standing coat rack
  • Balloons
  • Clear tape

Instructions

      Place a free-standing coat rack where you'd like the balloon tower to stand.

      Blow up 10 or more balloons of equal size and shape and knot their ends.

      Tie the knotted ends to the base and legs of the coat rack. Position the balloons so that they face outward. If the rack's base and legs are too wide to tie the balloons to, use clear tape to stick the ends of the balloons to the bottom of the coat rack.

      Continue tying or taping the balloons to the coat rack until you can no longer see the coat rack. Use the shape of the coat rack's features to guide the shape of the tower. These features will give your creation an authentic tower look.
