How to Autotune on the PS3
Autotuning is a process where you change the tone of your voice using an electronic device. The Sony PlayStation 3 Gaming Console has a program named Voice Changer that allows you to autotune your voice. The Voice Changer comes installed with your PlayStation 3 and requires a microphone for use. The Voice Changer can be used to alter your voice while playing online games.

Turn on your PlayStation 3 and select “Settings.”

Highlight “Accessory Settings” and press “X..” Select Voice Changer from the subsequent menu. You will see a continuum of dots that represent preset voice tone levels.

Speak into the microphone. You will see the bar on the top of the screen move. This represents the volume level of your voice.

Press the right button on your controller and speak into the microphone again. The tone of your voice will be higher.

Press the left button on your controller and speak into the microphone. The tone of your voice will now be lower.

Use the controller to alter your voice until you find a tone you like and press “X.” This will save the tone alteration and allow you to play games online using that tone.
