The appearance of wrinkles between your nose and lips can make you look older. These wrinkles are more noticeable when people look at your mouth as you talk. Wrinkles come with aging and are unavoidable, but preventives such as the use of sunscreen can minimize wrinkle development, as well as avoiding sun exposure. Use a face moisturizer that contains at least 15 SPF sunscreen. Many anti-wrinkle formulas moisturize and contain sunscreen. Look for anti-wrinkle creams with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Treatments with retinol and collagen are most effective.

Exercise away your wrinkles. Look in a mirror and pucker your lips in an exaggerated kiss. Try to reach your nose with your lips. Hold for three to five seconds, and repeat five to 10 times once or twice daily.

Curl your upper lip in a pout. Place your index fingers on the upper lip and move them to the corners of your mouth while holding the pout. Repeat this exercise six times.

Speak with your doctor about wrinkle treatments. Botox injections and filler treatments relax the muscles to smooth out wrinkles and last for up to six months.

Consider laser treatments. These are effective for minimizing or erasing deep lines on the upper lip, although multiple treatments are required. Consult a dermatologist for the treatment that is most effective for you.
