Make your chin hair less visible by removal or bleaching.

Unless you’re a man desiring a rough-around-the-edges look complete with facial hair, your chin hair might be undesirable. The hair on a woman often is a re-occurring annoyance to be addressed in grooming to at least make less visible. Besides shaving and risking noticeable razor burn, there are a few things you can do to either get rid of chin hair or make it virtually invisible. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Pull out your chin hairs with tweezers, especially if you only have a few scattered here and there that are easy to locate. Pulling the hair out can be uncomfortable, but pulling it out from the root will keep it from growing back for awhile.

    • 2

Remove the hair from the root using a waxing kit designed for removing hair from the face. If you have more than a few dark, coarse hairs that need to be removed, this is an effective solution. Moisturize your skin both before and after the waxing to reduce redness and to keep it from drying out from the warm wax.

    • 3

Bleach your facial hair so that it is nearly invisible. This technique works well if you have light skin with many finer, dark hairs on your chin. Apply the bleaching solution to the affected area. Most solutions need to sit on the skin for 10 minutes or less before you gently wash it off. When the bleaching is finished, your chin hairs will be practically invisible.

Use a chemical hair remover. This process might not last as long as plucking or waxing, but it won’t hurt as much. Select a product for sensitive skin. Smear the lotion over the area without rubbing it in. Allow it to sit for three minutes and remove it with lukewarm water and a wash cloth. Test a small area first to make sure you’re skin isn’t too sensitive for the remover.
