How to Bind a Book With Staplers
Staples work as a simple binder for books when you want to maintain the simple appeal. When you finish printing the book, the staples hold the pages together in a compact and simple way. When working with regular pieces of separate paper, the side staple method works the best. The side staple method works best for booklets you won’t use often. Continued use will put a lot of stress on the stapled spine, causing tearing of the paper or dislodging of the staples.

1
Collate the pages into the order you want for the book. Place a paper cover and backing on the book to protect the interior pages from damage.
-
2
Place a triangle of wood in the middle of the stapler that only allows the edge of the book to reach half an inch into the mouth of the stapler, so the staples will stay an even half-inch away from the edge of the booklet.

Attach your first staple half an inch away from the top edge of the book. Place a second staple halfway down the length of the book spine. Place the final staple a half-inch from the bottom border of the title page.
