How to Download YouTube Videos to an iPad Without 3G
The native YouTube application installed on your iPad does not feature the ability to download videos to your device. However, on jailbroken iPads you can download an application called MxTube from the Cydia store that allows you to download YouTube videos to your iPad over a Wi-Fi connection.

Tap the "Settings" button on your iPad.

Select the "Wi-Fi" option and move the indicator switch to the "On" position.

Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to. Enter a password, if prompted, to join the secured Wi-Fi network.

Press the "Home" button, tap the "Cydia" icon, then tap the "Search" icon.

Enter "MxTube" in the search bar, select the "MxTube" application and tap the "Install" icon.

Tap the "Confirm" icon, then press the "Home" button.

Enter a description of the YouTube video you want to download and select it after you find it.
