How to Record Hulu on a Mac
The Hulu Internet TV service streams online video to you through a Web browser. The QuickTime Player software included with Mac OS X allows you to record anything onscreen to your hard drive, so you can use this application to record Hulu video as it is being displayed in your browser.

Open a Web browser window, and navigate to the Hulu site to log in, but do not start your video yet.

Launch the QuickTime Player application from your Applications folder.

Choose "New Screen Recording" from the "File" menu. A new window titled "Screen Recording" will open.

Click on the Hulu Web browser window; then click on the link that opens your video. A commercial will begin playing in a section of your Web browser.

Click once on the Record button in the QuickTime Player window; then draw a rectangle around the section of the screen playing back the Hulu video. Click on the "Start Recording" button that appears in the center of the video. The microphone will pick up any sound you make while the recording takes place, so you may wish to leave your Mac in a quiet room during the recording.

Allow the video to play through from beginning to end; then click again on the Stop button in the QuickTime Player window. The recorded video will automatically save to your Finder Desktop.
