Particularly if you have two toddlers sharing a room, integrating twin beds into the design is a wise choice. By selecting a decorating scheme that features two twin beds, you can set your room up for housing two tots, creating a useful space that is inviting and fit for two tiny sleepers. 1
Make each bed reflective of its inhabitant. Just because you have twin beds doesn’t mean they have to be identical. Make your beds akin to fraternal twins, covering one with a race car themed bedspread, for example, while placing an astronaut themed spread over the other. In doing so, you can allow each toddler to retain his own identity despite the fact that he is sharing a space.

2
Space the beds to separate the room. Place one bed in one corner and other in another, to keep them separate and give the room the appearance of two separate and distinct areas. By adopting this arrangement option you also keep the space open and make it feel larger.

Try a less common placement. If your room inhabitants are very friendly and you don’t feel they require separate space, try lofting one of the beds and placing them in an L-configuration in the corner of the room, allowing your toddlers to climb and giving the room an even more open feel. If you do loft a bed and intend for a toddler to sleep in it, attach side rails to ensure that none of them take a spill.

Use under-the-bed space as storage. Purchase totes intended to fit under the bed in which your toddlers can store their toys or out of season clothing. By doing so, you can avoid filling up the room with storage and leave ample space for rambunctious toddler play.
