Restart your Acer. This resets minor settings that might cause issues on your computer.

Click the "Start" button and type "system restore" into the search field. Click the "System Restore" option that appears. Click "Next" in the window that appears to use the restore point recommended for your computer. Click "Finish" to restore your system settings and programs to an earlier time and restart your computer into the restore condition. Back up your files before performing a recovery using an external USB hard drive. Connect the cable from the drive to an open USB port on your computer. Click "Start" and type "backup" into the search field. Click "Backup and Restore." Click "Backup My Files" and select the drive letter for the external hard drive in the destination folder. Select the files you want to back up in the window that appears. Click "Next," then "Save Settings and Run Backup" to back up your important files to the external USB drive.
