Why Is the Date Not Right on Intellicast Weather & How Can I Fix It?
Intellicast is a free online weather reporting and forecasting service owned by The Weather Channel Group. Visitors are able to check weather conditions and predictions for thousands of locations worldwide. Intellicast’s interface includes a current time and date indicator in the top right corner of each page on the site. The timescale this indicator is Universal Time. The Universal Time listed on Intellicast refers to the current time in the United Kingdom and a handful of other locations that are in the UTC timezone. Time zones in the United States are several hours behind UTC, so the date and time displayed on the Intellicast Universal Time indicator won’t ever indicate the “correct” time for an American visitor. Though there is no way to change the Universal Time indicator on Intellicast, there is a way to get a better idea of current date and time in your locale.
