Apply a quarter sized amount of hair gel to your towel dried damp hair.

Hold your hair in place with one hand and use the other hand to manipulate your hair layer over layer from front to back until the shape of a cone is obvious. Apply smoothing lotion between layers if the hair becomes frizzy or otherwise unruly.
