How to Bypass Google Sign-In on Vibrant
The pop-up that displays when you open the Android Market shows only when the incorrect password is stored or if there is no Google account associated with the device. To bypass this either tap "Create New Account" or sign in with an existing one. If a Google account is already synced to the Vibrant you might be greeted with a sign-in screen that does not give you the option to create a new account.

1
Reset the phone to factory defaults. Although this erases data stored on the Vibrant, the Google settings are also reset and allows you to create your account. To reset the phone tap "Menu," then "Settings" and "Privacy." Tap "Factory Data Reset," then "Reset Phone."

2
Go to "Settings," "Applications," "Manage Applications," then tap "All." Find "Gmail," "Market" and "Google" in the list of apps. Tap each one and select "Clear Data." This removes the accounts and passwords stored on the device, allowing you the chance to start over. Restart the phone after clearing the cache.

Download the app online from the developer using the phone's mobile browser. When you tap to download Google asks you to sign in with the account you'd like to use, then the download begins automatically. Enter the name of the app in the Google search box and the letters "apk." This is the three letter file extension that ensures your search results will feature direct downloads.

Find out what the password is and enter it into the box. If you know who the account belongs to ask them to sign in for you. Once you sign in you won't see the Google sign-in screen again unless the data becomes corrupted.
