Create a diaper cake for the gift table. A diaper cake is a stack of diapers tightly rolled to look like a tiered wedding cake. Starting with about four rolled diapers tied together, the basic diaper cake is assembled by adding three or four rings of rolled-up diapers for the base, then two rings of rolled diapers are added as the middle layer and one rolled-up diaper as the top cake. Each layer is wrapped in decorated ribbon. You can make it as elaborate as you want with several layers. Some hang other baby products from the cake, such as pacifiers and teething rings.

Hang diapers from the ceiling. If you have a drop ceiling with tiles that lift up, you can attach the diapers to wire hooks and hang them from the tiles. If not, attach string to ceiling light fixtures in the room and hook the diapers onto the strings. You can also create the illusion of floating diapers by hanging fishing wire to the ceiling over each table. Attach diapers down the length of the string using old-fashioned diaper pins.

Place diaper-themed centerpieces at each table. One idea is to have mini diaper cakes as the table centerpieces. Another idea is to have a vase filled with large diaper pins, placing flowers in pale pink or blue in each. You could also place a stuffed animal wearing a diaper at each table. Tie pink or blue balloons to the back of the chairs, depending on the gender of the baby. Use neutral-colored balloons, such as yellow, if the gender is not known.

Serve all white food in honor of diapers, which are mostly white. You can serve things such as pasta with a white cream sauce, white cheese lasagna and mashed potatoes. For dessert, serve white chocolate confections, powdered donuts, angel food cake and vanilla ice cream. For an impressive centerpiece at the dessert table, have a white chocolate fountain. Decorate around the food with stacks of diapers and diapered, stuffed animals.
