How to Get iTunes Music Onto a Droid Incredible From a Mac

Most mp3 players and phones can sync with Apple computers.

Apple computers and iTunes music software was created to effortlessly sync with the iPod music player. But it can sync almost as easily with a Droid Incredible smartphone. With a free software download and a USB connection cable, you can sync your iTunes music library with your Droid Incredible and take it wherever you go.

Things You'll Need

• Syncing software (iTuneMyWalkman, doubleTwist or equivalent)
• USB cable

Instructions

1. Download syncing software that works to make Droid Incredible compatible with a Mac computer and Apple iTunes software. Options include doubleTwist and iTuneMyWalkman. Visit the homepage of either site and press the "Download" button, and the installation process will begin automatically.

2. Plug your Droid Incredible into a Mac using a USB cord. Droid Incredible comes with the appropriate USB connection.

3. Launch iTunes if it doesn't launch automatically when connecting a Droid. Click "My Devices." Select the icon of your Droid Incredible on the left side menu bar.

4. Click "Sync." All of the files in your iTunes library will automatically load onto your Droid Incredible. If you only want some of the files in your iTunes library on your Droid, choose "Manual" and check the boxes next to the files you want, then press "Sync."

Tips & Warnings

• If you load too many files onto your Droid, it can slow down significantly depending on the amount of memory available. If your Droid slows to an unbearable pace, choose to manage your files manually and select only the files you really need.
