Instructions

    • 1

Fill a small bucket with 1/2 gallon of water and add 1 to 2 teaspoons of liquid dish soap. Insert a non-abrasive sponge into the water mixture and stir it up to disseminate the soap. Wring the sponge thoroughly to remove most of the moisture.

    • 2

Wash the appliance surface using the sponge to remove all dirt, stains and paint chips.

    • 3

Rinse the sponge in clean water and then wipe the appliance surface to remove the soap residue. Towel dry the surface until no moisture remains.

    • 4

Shake up the bottle of GE Touch Up paint thoroughly for at least 10 seconds. Grasp the cap and twist it counterclockwise to remove it.

    • 5

Drag the brush, attached to the cap, over the rim of the bottle to remove excess paint. Apply the paint to the surface of the appliance using even strokes. If you are repainting a chipped area, try to avoid getting paint outside of the perimeter edges of the chip.

    • 6

Wait 24 hours to allow the paint to dry. Examine the appliance to see if the damaged area is still visible. If needed, apply a second coat of touch up paint to complete the repair.
