Instructions

    • 1

Remove the bark from the tree branch and place the branch on a table.

    • 2

Lay out the bubbles below the branch, spacing the bubbles from the branch as if they were hanging from it.

    • 3

Cut a strand of monofilament line and wrap it a couple of times around the branch above one of the bubbles. Knot the line and dab a bit of glue on the knot.

    • 4

Wrap as many lines as necessary until there is one for each of your bubbles.

    • 5

Taking one of the strands, pull it through the loop at the top of a bubble, tie a knot and dab the knot with glue.

    • 6

Continue tying all the strands to the bubbles, knotting the strands and dabbing the knots with glue.

    • 7

Cut another strand and wrap it a couple of times to one end of the branch. Knot the strand and dab the knot with glue.

    • 8

Thread the strand through the wire ring until the ring is about halfway along the strand.

    • 9

Tie a knot in the strand to hold the ring in place and dab the knot with glue.

    • 10

Wrap the strand around the other end of the branch so the wire ring hangs evenly halfway. Knot the strand and dab the knot with glue.

    • 11

Hang the glass bubbles from a curtain rod, suction hook or ceiling hook.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add beads to the strand before stringing it through the bubble.

  • Use a square rack instead of a branch and create a cluster of bubbles instead of a row.

  • Make strands with more than one bubble.
