How to Grow Hair Longer Using Avocado & Olive Oil
Growing long and healthy hair requires a major commitment in your hair care regime. 1
Slice an avocado in half, cutting around the seed in the center and pulling apart the halves. Pull out the seed and scoop out the inside. For medium-length hair to the shoulders or shorter, use half the avocado and for longer hair, use the entire fruit.
-
2
Put the avocado in a bowl and add a tablespoon of olive oil if you used half the avocado and two tablespoons for a whole fruit. Mash and mix with a fork thoroughly for two minutes.

Microwave the avocado mixture for 30 seconds and apply to your dampened hair. Leave for 30 minutes, and rinse out with cold water. Shampoo, but skip conditioning as the avocado and oil have already deep conditioned the hair. Repeat these steps once weekly to maintain moisturized, strong hair and to promote growth.

Tips & Warnings
For an extra boost, add an egg yolk to your masque. Egg yolks provide protein that will further fortify and strengthen the hair strands as they grow.
If you have extremely thick hair that tends to tangle easily, use a light detangler after shampooing to help separate strands.
