Create a bohemian look with the sequin hair band by first parting the hair down the middle. Then starting at the front of the head, take 2-inch sections and curl the hair with a 1-inch curling iron. Continue curling the tresses around the head--the result should be very loose spiral curls. Brush the hair out with a paddle brush, which will loosen the curls, creating a wavy effect. Place a mesh sequin headband around the head, resting it about 1 1/2 inches away from the front hair line.

Use two thin sequin hair bands to add pizzazz to a romantic Grecian-inspired hairstyle. Similar to the bohemian look, create soft waves by curling the hair with a curling iron. Brush out the wavy tendrils, before dividing the hair in half horizontally, around the top of the ears. Secure hair loosely with a hair elastic. Next, wrap two head bands around the head. Rest the first one around 1 inch away from the front hairline and the second about 1 inch behind it. Pull the hair through, so that the bottoms of the bands are covered, to finish the look.

Update the French twist with the use of thick sequin head band. First, back-comb the hair around the crown of the head--starting about an inch away from the scalp and scrunching the hair towards the head. Then gather the hair towards the nape of the neck and twist upwards. Tuck the ends of the hair into the top of the wrapped hair, inserting bobby pins along the side of the twist to secure it. Stretch the sequin headband over the twist and smooth it back away from the forehead to finish the hairstyle.

Add style to a messy ponytail by adding three to four multicolored sequin hair bands. Tease the hair around the crown, using the same back-combing technique as the French twist. Gather the hair loosely towards the center back of the hair, right below the crown, before securing it with a hair elastic. Layer thin colored hair bands around the head, starting about 1 inch away from the hair line, about a half-inch apart.
