How to Display a Facebook Wall on a WordPress Blog

      Visit the WordPress “Plugin Directory” website. Locate the “Search Plugins” box located on the left side panel. Type “Facebook” into the search box. Click “Search.”

      Click the download button for the plugin you wish to use on your WordPress blog. Click “Save” to save the plugin as a zipped folder on your computer.

      Examples of available plugins include Facebook Connect, Facebook Fan Page, Facebook Comments To Wordpress and Facebook Profile And Updates.

      Locate the zipped folder on your computer's hard drive. “Right Click” the folder. Select “Extract All” to unzip folder contents.

      Open your Internet Explorer web browser. Type “ftp://yourwordpressblog.com” into the address bar of the browser. Press “Enter.” If you don't want to use Internet Explorer, you can also use other third party FTP (File Transfer Protocol) clients, such as Cute FTP, FileZilla and CoffeeCup.

      Enter your WordPress username and password at the prompt. A split screen will appear. The left pane displays files from your computer's hard drive. The right pane shows your WordPress file directory.

      Locate the unzipped plug in folder on your computer's hard drive (left pane). Drag and drop the entire folder into the “/wp-content/plugins” folder in the WordPress file directory window (right pane). Close the FTP window.

      Log into your WordPress blog. Click “PlugIns.” Your Facebook plugin should now appear amongst your list of plug ins. Click “Activate” to activate the plug in.

      Click “Widgets.” Select the option to add widget to your blog. Select the Facebook plugin so that it appears on your blog.
